October 16th Five-a-side Football Tournament | Football In The City

Football In The City launches it’s first tournament!

The tournaments will take place at Goals Manchester, a new, state of the art five-a-side football pitches on the outskirts of Manchester city centre. The tournament will take place on Friday 16th October. The final tournament taking place in Quarter four, will have a drinks and awards reception taking place afterwards in early December 2015.

Kicking off

Teams are asked to meet at 1630 for team briefing and a sharp Kicking off at 1730, your team of 7 will take part and compete in a competitive tournament with other Northwest based teams.

Representatives from every organisation taking part will be welcome to support their colleagues and take advantage of some structured networking opportunities during the competition and afterwards over drinks, food and prize giving. Each event will be promoted through local business networks and maximised across social media platforms. There will be plenty of publicity and branding opportunities for every company taking part.

Support a Local Charity

There is a cost per team per tournament, which we would ask you contact us to discuss. Included in the price will be trophies, food and sports drinks and a few beers for the 7-strong football team.

One of the charities we are supporting is the Reclaim Project, the Northwest based youth project that provides a network of caring adults to support young people from deprived communities. The charity empowers them to create new career and life opportunities for themselves through creating new skills and encouraging entrepreneurship. www.reclaimproject.org.uk

The other charity is Kidscan – a North West based Children’s Cancer Research charity. Every year in the UK around 1,600 children are diagnosed with cancer. Sadly, one in five won’t survive, and those who do will face a lifetime of side effects to the treatment they receive. Through ground-breaking research, Kidscan is working towards a world where every child diagnosed with cancer will survive and thrive. www.kidscan.org.uk
