Football In The City launches it’s first tournament!

The tournaments will take place at Soccer in the City, state of the art five-a-side football pitches in the heart of Castlefield on the outskirts of Manchester city centre. The first one will take place on Friday 27th MarchThis is the first of four tournaments, that will be held throughout the year with the remaining dates being confirmed shortly, however, we’re hoping for the last Friday of quarters two and three with the final and black tie dinner taking place in December 2015.

Kicking off

Kicking off at 3pm, your team of 7 will take part and compete in a competitive tournament with 11 other Northwest based teams.

Representatives from every organisation taking part will be welcome to support their colleagues and take advantage of some structured networking opportunities during the competition and afterwards over drinks, food and prize giving. Each event will be promoted through local business networks and maximised across social media platforms. There will be plenty of publicity and branding opportunities for every company taking part.

Support a Local Charity

There is a cost of £350 per team per tournament. Included in the price will be trophies, food and sports drinks for the 7-strong football team.

There will be a special discount for signing up for all 4 tournaments of 2015 including 7 shirts branded with your company logo.

One of the charities we are supporting is the Reclaim Project, the Northwest based youth project that provides a network of caring adults to support young people from deprived communities. The charity empowers them to create new career and life opportunities for themselves through creating new skills and encouraging entrepreneurship.

The other charity is Kidscan – a North West based Children’s Cancer Research charity. Every year in the UK around 1,600 children are diagnosed with cancer. Sadly, one in five won’t survive, and those who do will face a lifetime of side effects to the treatment they receive. Through ground-breaking research, Kidscan is working towards a world where every child diagnosed with cancer will survive and thrive.
